Ricky,
The Guide to Institutional Repository Software version 3.0 is available
at http://www.soros.org/openaccess//software/. This dates from 2004 so
is showing its age a bit now, but is still a useful overview of the
various open source packages available (and most installations, as Les
says, are based on open source software).
