The East Asian Social Policy research network (EASP) and Centre for East
Asian Studies, University of Bristol, are pleased to announce the third
EASP conference, "GDPism and Risk: Challenges for Social Development and
Governance in East Asia", 12-13 July 2006, University of Bristol, UK.

Papers are invited which address the overall theme 'GDPism and Risk:
Challenges for Social Development and Governance in East Asia' and the
sub-themes as below. Those wishing to present in the conference should
submit a 250-300 word abstract to the EASP ([log in to unmask]) by
