Some of the issues relate to the font you are using at the time, if the
reader does not have/use a similar font there will be a substitution though
this is quite a bizarre one.
Will find angstrom in the insert symbol menu

Mac user for 18 years and having no trouble reading/opening/saving documents
and then passing on to windoze users
No viruses, no worms and apart from the occasional hard drive failure from
intensive use have never had a bad day with them
Spap unfortuantely can occur with any email account, some very inventive
programs the last few years manage to get access to the web based versions
of lists such as this and trawl for the @ sign pulling out the text before
and after thus generating the email list for their spamming activities
Some organisations have resorted to decompilin mail as it arrives and
changing the users address I my case to mick at mac.com thus confusing the
spammer stemporarily at least

Never thought about it as going against the grain but a porsche wouldn't
really appeal to anyway New machines released in last few weeks by Apple
offer an interesting option of using windows on a mac
