Invitation for participation in CAA'07 session on urban analysis:
Spatial analysis goes downtown: syntactical, visual and analytical
approaches to the reconstruction and interpretation of past built space
The CAA'07 (Computer Applications in Archaeology, http://www.caa2007.de) in
Berlin, April 2-7, offers a session on spatial analysis applied to past
urban space. Over the last decades a variety of analytical approaches have

scales offering a wide range of interpretative potential. The session
invites and encourages dialogue between different approaches with emphasis
on their applicability to an archaeological environment.
This session provides an excellent discussion forum for spatial analysts
working in archaeology or archaeologists applying methods of spatial
analysis. For further details pls. refer to the attachment and/or contact
