Lecturer in Physical Chemistry
Applications are invited for a lectureship in Physical Chemistry tenable
from October 2006. This position is associated with the recent appointment
of Professor John Plane to the School of Chemistry. Applicants should have
a proven research record in any branch of physical chemistry. Preference
may be given to applicants with an interest in studying the terrestrial or
other planetary atmospheres. The successful candidate will be expected to
establish a strong research programme to complement and further enhance our
grade 5A research rating, and teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate
levels.
Salary will be on the scale of Lecturer Grade A (£24,352 - £27,929)
