Hi Dave,
The following papers have reference to
Zr concentrations involved in pelitic
reactions:
Fraser et al. (1997) Geology, 25, 607-610
Degeling et al. (2001 Min Mag, 65, 749-758.
I know that Helen Tomkins (nee Degeling)
was working on a paper that was a
compilation of all published mineral Zr
contents, including for pelites. So you
may wish to contact Helen directly.
We also measure Zr in most ion probe
trace element analyses of garnet, rutile
and other metamorphic minerals (Kelly et
al., 2005, CMP; Kelly et al., 2006,
Lithos), and I would imagine many others
would also.
Cheers,
Nigel.
