Well, I tried but couldn't get any info for 01872 254500, Karen!
If Cornwall Hospital Trust had paid your bill (and BT confirmed), with Tim's
logic, I would rub my hands and go "excellent, I can sell them some
software". :)
BT has a 3rd message built into their SMS service by the way. When I tried
to get the payment info of my Voice over IP number, which is provided freely
by another Telecoms Operator, I got this response: "Sorry, we couldn't deal
with your SMS enquiry. Please follow the instructions closely. Instructions
can be found at www.bt.com/SMS." You go to that web site, and get a 404
error that says "We are sorry, the page you requested does not exist at this
address. It may have moved, the name changed or the link may be broken."
I'm sure Tim's going to get them down. All I will say is "poor development
BT!"

I have gone from feeling outrage over the ready access to my bill paying
system to snorts of laughter at some of the responses and by-play
between posts.
I don't feel I have anything intelligent to add (it's Friday) but thank
you for making my frenetic day a bit perkier, (did I mention that it's
Friday?) .....it's good to know there are such chivalrous knights and
crusades of such epic proportion out there watching our civil rights
ready to pounce at a moments notice......
besides I really really don't want people snooping into my payment
habits (I knew that ONE time I didn't pay my bill on time would come to
haunt me......)
