Sorry to use this outlet but it has successfully found us excellent people
in the past - but apologies to those for whom it is irrelevant.
David Bellman is now leaving us shortly to travel the world having worked
with us since last summer, so we are looking for a junior member of staff
to start as soon as possible.
The successful person will be working in a small, friendly team and
obviously must be living within easy travel of Tooley St.
Responsibilities will include dealing with the post, processing book
orders, room bookings, training course applications and hotel reservations,
servicing meetings in the conference suite, and learning about the needs of
the membership to be able to anwer queries over the telephone and by email.
They would also be trained in key aspects of the member database.
Five day week - "normal" office hours.
Must be computer competent with the Office suite of programs - particularly
Word and Excel, show initiative with smart appearance and professional
attitude to dealing with very important customers - you the members !
We have written procedures to follow for most of the work involved and
training will be provided wherever needed. Tremendous opportunity to learn
new techniques and skills for the right person.
This is now to become a permanent position since we are reorganising the
office as Dragana has also decided that she will not be returning now to
the team in order to concentrate on her children.
If anyone is aware of suitable candidates to fill this hard-working, varied
and enjoyable role supporting Committees and members work from the Office
in Tooley St London, in the first instance please email

to find out more details and arrange an interview.
Many thanks,
Graham & Nic
