Happy new year,
We introduced a new Architect and during the evaluation we realized that Folate was not stable more than 2 weeks. After different investigations, we found that the machine was contaminated with Pseudomonas (buffer reservoir culture positive).
We changed the buffer reservoir, filters etc and tried different decontamination procedures:
20 min with Javex (10%)
48 h with Javex (10%)
48 h with Peroxide (10%)
The best result was obtained with Javex 10% 48h, but after 3 weeks we were having again the contamination (Folate controls very high)
Vitamin B12 was not affected.
Any suggestions
Thanks
Ihssan
