Accent Fellowship in Stated Preference
A new fully funded Research Fellowship is available from October 2006 for
a fixed term of five years. The holder of this Fellowship is expected to
make fundamental advances in Stated Preference research and to develop an
international reputation in this area. This exciting opportunity is
sponsored by Accent, who are market leaders in the use of Stated
Preference research throughout Europe. Based in ITS, the Fellow will be
required to commit 50% of their time to applied research for Accent and
50% to independent research in ITS.
With a PhD or equivalent experience in a discipline relevant to Stated
Preference, plus a good degree, you should be able to deliver high
quality, innovative research. You will have a proven record of high
quality published output as well as other dissemination, or the clear
potential to develop one. An enthusiasm for research is essential as is a
willingness to work in both a commercial and academic environment. With
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to
convey complex ideas using appropriate media and methods at a level
suitable to your target audience.
Experience of contract research within a consultancy environment is
desirable as is an experience in writing proposals, presentations and
final reports. Some teaching or supervisory experience would be welcomed.
University Grade 8 (£31,525-£38,772p.a.) or Grade 9 (£39,935-£46,292p.a.)
depending on qualifications and experience.
