Apologies for cross-postings
A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Oliver Monti in the
Department of Chemistry at The University of Arizona
(www.chem.arizona.edu/monti). The goal of the NSF-funded project is to
understand short length-scale interfacial electronic structure in organic
photovoltaic cells in order to improve device efficiencies. In a novel
experimental approach we combine optical microscopy with photoelectron
spectroscopy on surfaces.
Successful applicants should have a PhD in experimental physical chemistry,
physics or a related field, and experience in at least one of the following
areas: Photoelectron spectroscopy, surface science, ultrahigh vacuum
technology, ultrafast lasers, optical microscopy, nanoscience.
Tucson is an inexpensive city situated in the beautiful Sonoran Desert with
countless opportunities for outdoor activity and a diverse range of cultural
events.
The position is available immediately (starting date negotiable) for a
duration of one year, renewable for a second year upon mutual agreement. The
salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. For details of
