Customer Relations Management
31st March 2006 - Student Centre, University of Abertay Dundee

A group of three speakers from the higher education and research sectors 
and industry will be sharing their views and experiences on Customer 
Relations Management, on the 31st March 2006, at the Student Centre, 
University of Abertay Dundee:

Ivor Lloyd, Depute Principal (Planning & Resources) and Head of Information 
Services at the University of Abertay Dundee, President of CILIPS and a 
Trustee of the National Library of Scotland. Ivor is also currently 
Chairman of the Tayside and Fife Library and Information Network. He  will 
be speaking on the contribution of CRM to enhancing the student experience.

Manish Gordhan, Oracle. Manish has spent over 11 years working across a 
range of industry sectors including Consumer, Financial Services, 
Manufacturing, Professional Services, Government and the Public Sector, 
including Higher Education. He has managed Global Applications 
implementation teams and worked in the area of CRM for the last 6 years. 
Manish will be discussing CRM in Higher Education for students, sponsors 
and staff.

Gordon Hunt, Director of Customer Services, National Library of Scotland. 
>From 1999-2004 Gordon was Head of Information Services at the Royal 
Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, joining NLS in January 
2004. In addition to taking overall responsibility for customer services, 
he is a member of a number of regional library groups within Scotland and 
takes a lead in developing the partnership activities of NLS. Gordon will 
be talking about putting CRM into practice.

The session will be chaired by Michael Roberts, University of Strathclyde, 
and will incorporate the Group Section Annual General Meeting which will be 
held at 13:45. Attendance at the AGM will be free to all members of the 
Group.
