With someone, somewhere in the UK having a heart attack every two minutes,
the British Heart Foundation (BHF) press office is passionate about raising
awareness of heart disease and fighting the UK’s biggest killer.We’re
looking for an ambitious press officer, with the drive to make a
difference, to join our award-winning in-house PR team.
We need someone who can create headlines with BHF news and achievements,and
be a voice for the 2.6 million heart patients in the UK today.If you are
creative and hungry for coverage,we want to hear from you.
The ability to get to grips with medical jargon is essential as is the
skill towrite clear, concise and eye-catching copy that delivers headlines.
Thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced press office environment, you’ll
already have at least two years’PR or science communication experience.
We’re looking for someone with experience of operating at both
national and regional levels,preferably with knowledge of health media.
