We would recommend a boost & retest at 8 weeks as a blood test is
unlikely to show a response unless you stimulate the antibodies with a
booster.

We would
Re-test for antibodies,
Or Boost and re-test in 2 months,
If results come back negative,
Treat booster as first of new course.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Hepatitis B vaccine
Does anybody know when hepatitis B vaccine was first used routinely in
children in China? I have a 34 year old researcher, and am trying to
work
out whether she is likely to have been covered (she has no recollection
and
says her family won't know either).
For those of you who do lots of hep B - where there is an uncertain
history
such as this would you automatically repeat the full course or would you
blood test first?

Wendy
