Digital North Curatorial Mentoring and Trainee Project

Opportunities for 3 emerging curators interested in media arts

'Digital North', a cross-regional Arts Council initiative is offering 3

Digital North is a consortium of organisations and individuals who are
based in one of the 3 northern Arts Council regions, (Yorkshire,

enhance media arts activity by the development of cross-regional
partnerships and networks. Site Gallery is co-ordinating the
Curatorial Traineeships and is now seeking applications from emergent
curators who would like to develop their skills, knowledge and
experience in curation, and who have a particular interest in media
arts. A fee of £2,000 is offered to each of the 3 curators together
with a research/travel budget, a professional development programme and
mentoring support. A project budget will enable the curatorial
trainees to develop a joint project that will be researched and
realised in 2006 for exhibition and tour in 2007.
