Dear Collegues,
The Institute of Physics Molecular Physics Group will be holding a one-day
meeting on July 6th, 2006 at the University of York entitled “Spectroscopy
and Dynamics across the Spectrum.” The aim of the meeting is to
illustrate the use of novel spectroscopic techniques to investigate
molecular physics. A full programme for the event is attached.
The meeting will be preceded by the ANUMOCP (Annual Northern Universities
Meeting of Chemical Physics) one-day meeting on July 5th. As usual, this
will be an informal meeting of physical chemistry and chemical physics
researchers, where young researchers are allowed to talk about their work
in a friendly and stimulating environment.
There will be a cost of £15 per day for students, and £27 per day for non
students to cover the cost of lunch and refreshments. For participants
staying overnight, the cost for the two day meeting (including
accommodation, lunches, dinner and refreshments) will be £55 for student
members of the IOP or £100 for non-students. Late registration (if
accepted) may be subject to a surcharge.
To register, please e-mail Dr Caroline Dessent ([log in to unmask]) by June
20th. Include which days you plan to attend, whether you require
overnight accommodation, and details of any dietary requirements/special
needs.
For travel details, please see the web page http://www.york.ac.uk/np/maps
Further details are available from the Institute of Physics website
