Subject: New Look for CRD databases
Apologies for cross posting and for previously incomprehensible email!
As you are no doubt aware, CRD produces three databases DARE, NHS EED and
HTA that are FREE to access via the web.
The databases provide access to abstracts of:
- over 4000 quality assessed systematic reviews
- over 6000 quality assessed economic evaluations
- over 6000 completed and ongoing health technology assessments
- all Cochrane reviews and protocols
The web interface has recently been redesigned and can be accessed at:
www.crd.york.ac.uk
The new look provides users with:
Enhanced search and navigation
- basic and advanced searching
- MeSH searching
- save and reload search histories
- edit saved histories before rerunning them
- "ready-made" searches created by CRD on topics of general interest
Enhanced presentation and layout
- clearer presentation of search results
- view results for all three databases in one interface
- improved record display
Alerting services
- email alerts
- RSS feeds
If you have any comments regarding the new interface,
please contact the CRD database helpdesk:
