Research Associate in Women's Health (RAIA)
The Postgraduate Medical School (PGMS) is seeking to appoint a research
fellow to work on an exciting new project on pelvic pain and the
diagnosis of endometriosis. This new post in the Women's Health
Research Group at the PGMS offers a great opportunity to work within a
friendly team who are dedicated to leading both National and
International research. The post is initially for a fixed term of one
year, although there is a possibility of extending this for a further
two years.
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out a systematic
literature review and writing this up for publication. They will also
work with the research team to organise and analyse data from a clinical
database containing patient symptom measures and operative findings
relating to pelvic pain.
The post holder will be based at the Postgraduate Medical School, in the
Department of Primary Care and Public Health.
The successful applicant should hold a PhD in a relevant academic
discipline (although individuals who have almost completed a PhD may be
appointed). Consideration may also be given to individuals who do not
hold a PhD but have required skills based on a number of years
experience in specified / relevant fields.
