This interactive one-day event will consider the way forward on the teaching of ethics to engineering students across the UK. Representatives from industry, higher education and professional bodies will come together to debate the issues and to share best practice.
The programme will:
*Analyse how current and future developments in engineering ethics relate to what it is to be a professional engineer.
*Consider the impact of accreditation as a major driver for change.
*Reflect on how engineering ethics can be further integrated into Higher Education curricula.
Who should attend? Engineering academics with experience and/or interest in the teaching of ethics, professionalism and corporate social responsibility and other academics
