I don't expect to get any response from Google - I never have done in
the past. As Phil so often says Google are not a search engine company,
they are an audience aggregations. The "search" bit of the company is
just a part of achieving that and most people who use it are generally
satisfied with the results. So why should Google bother when some of the
search features get "broken".
