Book now to attend the next ALPSP Technology Update on the 21st of November
in London.
ALPSP and SIS ran a particularly successful Technology Update seminar back
in March entitled Web 2.0: Hip or Hype: new ways to engage users with
content, which was sold-out. We're pleased to announce that we will be
repeating the event, chaired by Geoff Bilder of SIS and also with
contributions from Leigh Dodds of Ingenta, Brian Kelly of UKOLN and Terry
Hulbert of IoPP, in Central London on the 21st of November.
Anne Vindenes Allen of TheScientificWorld says: "Attending this session
really opened our eyes to the new possibilities brought about by Web 2.0. It
completely changed our priorities for technical development, and brought
about groundbreaking new features that have been very popular with our
users."
As with all our Technology Updates it's designed for publishing people who
aren't "techies" but want to know what is happening at the forefront of new
technology and web development without being blinded by science and
technical jargon. So book now to reserve your place - it's a half-day
morning meeting followed by lunch.
