What type of researcher are you: Bloodhound or Golden Retriever?
For our May seminar we have three interesting speakers who will be providing
unique insights into the different types of research skills required (both
soft and hard) as well as personalities that exist in a changing and
challenging business environment.
SPEAKERS:
Dr Nick Coates, Head of Research, FreshMinds <http://www.freshminds.co.uk/>
. With reference to research carried out by FreshMinds, Nick will be
analysing how the changing role of the researcher is viewed by both
researchers and their clients. He will provide some thoughts on different
researcher personalities and show how researchers increasingly faced with
competition need to be more chameleon like.
Stephanie Wheeler, Consultant, Stephanie Wheeler Associates & Roberta
Gardner, Managing Consultant, Cubiks <http://www.cubiks.com/> . Roberta and
Stephanie will explore the personality traits of research professionals,
using PAPI a proven personality assessment tool, that helps assess behaviour
and preferred work styles. There will be an opportunity for attendees to
experience PAPI by taking part in some pre-research prior to the
presentation.
