Applying for funding
Speakers: Philip Pothen, Press and PR Manager, JISC
Katie Sambrook, Special Collections Librarian, King's College London
At this seminar you will get an opportunity to hear about fund-raising for
libraries from two aspects, both from a funding provider and a librarian
successful at raising funds.
Philip will talk about how to apply for funding and, in particular, for JISC
funding in a range of areas of interest to library and information staff,
giving information on upcoming calls and tips and hints on making successful
bids
Katie will talk about two recent examples of successful fund-raising for
special collections at King's. She will give practical guidance on
fund-raising, particularly on pursuing sources of funding within
institutions.

Childcare
CDG members are entitled to reclaim costs incurred in arranging child care
in order to attend a CDG event. To do so, please ask a Committee member
before or during the event for an Expenses Claim Form and submit this to the
divisional treasurer (address on form) along with copy of bill or expense
details as soon as possible.
Reimbursement will be made by cheque.
