In 1993, Miranda was the youngest ever winner of the PPA Magazine Writer of the Year award for her work on Select Magazine. She wrote a column for Time Out from 1993 to 1996 and one for The Mirror from 2000 to 2003. She is a feature writer for The Observer, Esquire's motoring correspondent and a contributing editor for The Face. Her writing appears in GQ, Vogue and The Guardian. She is a regular critic on arts shows across all media, and a contributor and presenter on TV. Last year, Miranda wrote, researched and presented an hour long documentary for Channel 4 about the age of consent entitled 'Sex before 16: How the Law Is Failing'.

Phil has been hailed by no less than John Humphrys as "One of the very best teachers in the country." A former recipient of the 'Secondary Teacher of the Year' award in the National Teaching Awards, he is now a freelance broadcaster, a Guardian columnist and author, having previously been an advanced skills teacher in inner city London for a decade then Bafta nominated and star of TV's teaching "The Unteachables". 'He is an innovator, unafraid of the modern' the rock-musician-turned-teacher is not only a man blessed with the ability to see the silver lining inside every be-hooded teenage cloud, but can even get them to see it themselves.
In addition, 'How we do Marketing', a presentation by marketing experts from Nike, as well as a host of other talents from Libraries, the National Gallery and the world of literature, including Liz Gilmore from the National Gallery, Susan Law from Blackburn with Darwin library service, Nicky Parker from Manchester Public Libraries and the Powerhouse, Jo Boagey from the Youth Agency and of course John Dolan the MLAs Library Tsar.
