Hello
The policy on computer games here is that they are not allowed and we
ask any students we see playing games to stop and get on with something
related to their course. This has been the same at other colleges I
have worked in. The students don't get on with work, they leave and then
just hang around the college, until their next lecture.
So, I wondered if anyone has a more enlightened approach to games. If
so, do you:
Designate certain PCs for games.
Have PCs in a common room or similar area that can be used
for games.
Allow games at off peak times.
Only allow certain games or certain games sites to be used.
Any other solutions.
Or do you ban them like us?
Any comments, ideas and suggestions welcome and I will summarise for the
list if I get any responses!
Thanks. Mike
