ALISS Visit to Museum of London
Library and ephemera collections
5th December 2.30pm
ALISS (Association of Librarians and Information professionals in the Social Sciences). are pleased to announce an opportunity to visit behind the scenes at the Library of the Museum of London which holds a specialist collection of materials relating to the social, economic and political history of London .
This is located in central London www.museumoflondon.org.uk <http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/> at London wall.
The visit will incorporate a tour of reading room and opportunity to view selected ephemera from the collections which include holdings of suffragette materials and valentines cards!
The visit will last approximately 2 hours
Participants will be required to check in with security so should arrive shortly before 2.30pm.
There is no charge for ALISS Members.
