ALISS (Association of Librarians and Information Professionals in the Social Sciences) is organising a visit to the national Womens Library which is based in Old Castle Street E1. <http://www.thewomenslibrary.ac.uk/visit_home.html>
It hosts the most extensive collection of books, journals and pamphlets relating to womens social, political and economic history in the UK. The tour will include a tour of the reading room and an opportunity to visit the fascinating exhibition area.
This visit is free to all ALISS members.
