Dear Colleague
Start the academic year with a meeting and discussion around new moving
image content for learning, teaching and research. Join us at the two-day

Birmingham at The Custard Factory on 19th and 20th September.
The conference features four themes Large Scale Moving Image and Sound
Digitisation Projects; Virtual Learning Environments - proprietary and open
source; Copyright Issues and New Licences; Podcasting and Interactive
Television. See
(http://www.bufvc.ac.uk/conferences/learningonscreen/index.html) for further
details.
On the evening of 19th September all participants are invited to attend the
Learning on Screen Dinner and Awards hosted by Robert Llewellyn (HOLLYWOOD
SCIENCE and SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE) and Dr Jonathan Hare (HOLLYWOOD SCIENCE and

We look forward to seeing you in Birmingham.
