I am working on tender documents for a new print/copy contract in our
libraries.
The current service is a networked solution - using Pharos software -
that operates separate printers and copiers.
High volumes of both printing and copying take place at most sites. In
addition, a small amount of scanning takes place (likely to increase if
we increase capacity).
The literature I've seen points to MFDs as the way forward -
multi-functional devices that print/copy/scan et al. all on the same
machine.
Does your library have MFDs?
If so, I'd welcome any/all views on same.
If not, was it a conscious decision to reject them as an option?
I will of course be happy to summarise comments received.
TIA
