Dear Lesley and all
At Bristol, if we get a request for an article in one of our e-journals, I
always check the Licence because for a number of them, we are allowed to
make a paper copy and supply it. It depends on the Licence, and some of
the non Nesli ones will not allow it, and it can be tricky tracking the
information down. But we do it routinely here and as more and more is
e-only, I agree that it is something that we will need to make sure we can
do too. We are purchasing e-resource management software which will make
answering this question a lot easier.
We decline where we are being asked for a whole issue or the Licence
doesn't allow it. But it is possible that we have a print+online sub, and
can still use the print too...
