Exciting Day-School in Oxford
If your searches of the web produce frustrating and irrelevant results by the
hundred (or worse), come to a short course at Rewley House, the continuing
education arm of Oxford University. By the end of the course you should be able
to reduce the typical thousands of mostly unwanted results from a search, to a
dozen or so highly relevant hits. You will be able to try out some post-Google
search engines and will also be shown how to avoid "paid-for" results. The
introductory part of the course is on Saturday 21st October
2006 (10 am to 5.30 pm), and the, optional, more advanced part will be held
on Saturday 27th January 2007. For more details write to Rewley House, Oxford
University, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JA, or telephone 01865 270360, or
e-mail to [log in to unmask] Apologies for any cross-posting.
