You are invited to attend the AGM of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon District (BBOD) of CILIP, which takes place on Tuesday 2 May
Programme
2.30 - members have the opportunity to visit the new Museum of English Rural Life (MERL) in its new home in Reading. The £10.5 million redeveloped site hosts the impressive collections, which are Designated as being of national importance.
4.30 - members have the choice of attending the seminar which is taking place at MERL on the changing shape of chickens, or visiting the Information Service of Clarks Legal, the commercial law firm in the centre of Reading***
6.15 - The AGM will take place on the narrow boat the Lancing, moored at Chestnut Walk in Reading.
6.45-8.30 - a cruise along the river. Refreshments are provided and there is a bar on the boat.

The AGM will replace the May event at Great Expectations. The next meeting there will be arranged for June and will continue through to July.
