Hi - this may relate to the number of EVs and contrasts that you are
using.
Things that can reduce the amount of RAM required:
1. Make sure you're using the latest version of FSL (3.3) - FILM uses
about half the RAM of the previous version.
2. Make sure you have enough swap.
3. Use a 64-bit computer and compilation - this NEVER (!) runs out of
RAM.
4. Remove end slices if you don't need them, with avwroi.
5. If all above fails, you could try to reduce the number of EVs....
