The Learner Support team is a friendly, well established and expanding
team providing support for learners with a wide range of disabilities and
learning difficulties across the whole range of College courses.
We require an experienced and enthusiastic person to provide advice and
support to enable students and staff with disabilities to make effective
use of a wide range of assistive technology. You will also be responsible
for maintaining and developing the College’s additional support database.
You will work as part of the Learner Support team, as well as working
along side a team of systems support staff responsible for maintaining and
developing central IT services.
You will be able to demonstrate well developed interpersonal and
organisational skills. The ability to maintain and support disability
related equipment and an in-depth understanding of assistive technologies
will be essential. Experience of providing IT training for disabled
people, preferably in an educational environment, is required.
