disabled students generally and you would be part of a positive, dedicated
and happy Team that is well supported within a successful, confident and
student-centred university.
As a minimum, you must have either a BSL/English Interpreting
qualification, or a high level BSL qualification, together with a minimum
of two years’ interpreting experience in post-16 education. Ideally you
will have A-level English, as you must be able to process HE level
technical vocabulary in both languages. You will have been educated to
graduate level or equivalent, and will have recent experience of working
as an interpreter.
