Dear All,
Technical Innovations in Art History Seminar
Places are still available for the above seminar taking place at CCH, King's
College on Monday 20th November (2pm - 5.30 pm).
We would welcome participation from academics and post-graduate students
with an interest in discussing issues related to the use of technology in
art history. The issues will be framed by presentations from Professor Tim
Benton (talking about his work on Le Corbusier) and Dr. Anna Bentkowksa
(relating to her work on anthropomorphic landscapes) and then discussion
will focus on topics including (but not limited to):
* What Digital tools are required by art historians?
* What criteria should be used for assessing technical innovation in art
historical research?
* What are the problems associated with the preservation and dissemination
of research involving technical methods?
