We also use 40cm2 squares of nylon mesh that we attach to a sieve with pegs. The flot mesh is then folded into a 'samosa' and hung on a washing line to dry. The dried flot is then easily removed from the meshes which last for years. We use 1m2 1mm meshes for the residues in our flotation tanks and 300 micron or 500 micron for our flots.
