I don't think readers of this list will be rushing to buy personal
copies, but you may want to prompt your institutional library to buy
it. It's a 960 page encyclopaedia covering all aspects of seeds,
including various crops, seed anatomy and morphology, viability
etc. Parts of the text that I've seen look very useful to
archaeobotanists. Edited by Mike Black of Kings College London
and various other leading seed people. To come out in mid-2006.
