1. Research Assistant/Fellow - National Identity, Citizenship and Religious 'Difference' (vacancy ref. 12193)
This Leverhulme Programme project will contribute to an under-researched area within the study of national identity by focussing on minority religion in the theorising and study of 'difference', citizenship and national identity. The focus will be on ethno-religious minorities in Britain, especially Muslims.

2. Research Assistant - A European Approach to Multicultural Citizenship: Legal Political and Educational Challenges (EMILIE) (vacancy ref. 12194)
This interdisciplinary project is a response to the current 'crisis of multiculturalism' and the lack of a common EU intellectual framework to discuss the relevant challenges. Comprising of nine partners from nine countries (Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Poland, Spain and the UK), selected so as to represent different experiences of migration and integration, including those still in transition with regard to migration.
Grade : Grade 1A Salary : £20,044 - £30,002
