Dear All
Apologies for cross-posting.
Don't wait until October...
So you know someone is going to create a Disability Equality Scheme, and you know deaf people should be properly consulted and involved in a meaningful way. But if many of the barriers are about communication, and deaf people are often said to be 'invisible' - how will you actually do this?
This is a reminder for the CHESS day on 12 May at Sheffield. Don't go off for the Easter break without booking! - the deadline for completed booking forms is 14 APRIL. Although a smarter flyer with logo is available from me, for booking forms, you need to contact Paddy Turner - details at the end of this e-mail.
Best wishes
