I notice that 3 diabetes points are awarded for recording EITHER e-GFR OR
creatinine so why the fuss ?!
DM 22. The percentage of patients with diabetes who have a record of
estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) or serum creatinine testing in
the previous 15 months

EGFR
Discovered today that only code accepted for the new Diabetes QOF DM22 is
451F.!!!
The reference can be found here
http://www.inps.co.uk/qofreporting/Read%20codes%20GMS%20v8.pdf
Is anyone charging the GP's for the e GFR result. I heard on the grapevine
they get remunarated at the rate of £5 for reporting that information?.
Cheers
John

Does anyone know the READ code assigned to eGFR for transmission to GP
systems and incorporation into their databases?
