Financial Accountant
Part-time – 2 days per week (0.4)
£25-27K pro rata – dependent on experience

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the BDA is seeking 
a Financial Accountant to work part-time to provide financial support in 
the preparation of statutory accounts.

The role would suit a qualified accountant or qualified by experience 
with a sound knowledge of excel and word, the ability to work on their 
own and as part of a team and with good interpersonal skills.  A 
knowledge of Access Accounting would also be useful.

Mentor (Part Time) – Seeing it Differently Project

Salary –  £20K pro rota – 3 days per week (0.6)
12 month contract
Home based – South East

Seeing it Differently is a European Social Fund (ESF) project to 
identify and support dyslexic prisoners as they come to the end of their 
sentence and as they try to resettle in the community.

The BDA is seeking a strong, experienced Mentor to be a critical part of 
this important project in South East England.  Reporting to the Project 
Manager, you will be a robust, highly motivated individual striving for 
change; a self starter, team builder, networker and 
‘completer-finisher’. You will have excellent communication skills and 
understand the challenges faced by dyslexic people or offenders.  You 
will also have experience of working within multi agency partnerships.
