Electronic Document and Records Management System: Project Officer
Two and a half year fixed term contract at a salary of £16,260- £20,970 bar
at £19,656
As one of the leading local authorities in Information and Records
Management, Gloucestershire County Council has an exciting opening for an
ambitious person to provide support and drive to achieving success in this
project. A pilot project has been completed to test the proposed solution
and software, which has been branded as MIDAS and this post will help
continue the work of rolling out this Corporate EDRMS across the authority.
The role will encompass a combination of analysis of business processes,
assisting in change management and supporting project methodology, training
and records management in each area of roll out. It offers a great variety
of tasks and much job satisfaction and interest.
You will be a part of a small team reporting to the Project Manager and you
will need to be extremely flexible, proactive and enthusiastic with high
levels of inter personal skills. A good degree of tact, persuasion and
advocacy in your approach will be required, as well as being well
organised. Knowledge of local authority working is essential and you will
need a good working knowledge of Microsoft office tools and experience of
working with electronic documents and records is desirable.
