>>I've been searching the net for "nefelodioktai" for good portion of the

the spelling wrong. Anyone familiar with these "pursuers of the clouds" in
Greek folklore that can shed some so much needed light?

The (ancient?) Greek is Nephele, you probably already know that, and is the
name in mythology of cloud-like beings, and also a literal cloud that Zeus
fashioned in the shape of Hera to test Ixion. In the Bible the Nephelim fell
from the sky,.. I don't know if that word would be related to the one you
are after... I don't know what "nefelodiktai" are... Guessing (without
reading the actual text) that it may have something to do with the
weather... (But that's a total off the top of my head guess so is obviously
entirely unhelpful).
