This may be faulty memory on my part, but I seem to remember Coehlo addressing
this a little in the book which is one long interview with him. Sorry -
am on a
reaaaaaaly slow internet connection at the moment, so won't Google the
title/author. Anyway, from reading that and other interviews with him,
I formed
the impression that RAM was Coehlo and one or two mates, nothing more
elaborate
than that. As to claiming ancient lineage, etc, I'm sure we've all read that
one before. As a novelist myself, I can attest to the fact that writers
lie for
a living.
This is, as I say, working entirely from memory from readings several
years ago,
so I may be way off base.
Craig.
