I recieved a very interesting popular book in my 'Xmas
stocking'
which mentioned Glozel, and have since been looking it
up on the Net as I digest my turkey. There seems no
consensus on it, but the Net is hardly the best place
for reliable info on this sort of thing. So what is
the 'expert opinion' on it? I'd say it potentially
relates to magic as the alphabet found there
(allegedly Neolithic) is quite runic, and similar
alphabetic charcters possibly appear in Romania much
later in 5000 BC, around the emergence of the Bronze
Age, on what is refered to as a shamanic amulet. This
later amulet was also found near a Dagon like idol
apparently too, which aesthetically warms me to it.
But makes me think its too wild to be genuine.
