Hi Jeremy,
I wanted to follow a bit up on ID cards, because potentially they are
really useful. They need to contain any
information that makes the VO easily deployable. For now that I can think:
1) VO support contacts (both specific people responsible and various
experiments mailing lists)
2) VO server, VOMS end points
3) Hardware requirements
4) Software requirements
5) Glue schema fields used if beyond the normal cpu,mem... this would give
an idea of what is really useful in the info system and really needs to
be set and looked after and what is superfluous and can have a meaningless
default value.
6) General procedures (for example if like atlas the site has to request
the installation).
7) Size of the VO (i.e how many users) This is because I'm not going to
create the same amount of pool accounts for for example ATLAS
and phenogrid.
Ideally this information would be maintained on the CIC portal pages
rather than the experiment pages, with the same layout.
cheers
alessandra
