italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
In the context of a research on alterity, I am looking for post-WW II
fictional text by Italian writers who describe the experience of
encountering a different culture by going abroad, something along the
lines of Tabucchi's _Notturno indiano_ but also about the degraded
experience of mass tourism (e.g., Nove's _Puerto Plata Market_). I'd
especially appreciate suggestions for books published in the 50s, 60s
and 70s. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
