I was surprised by this one too! The lancaster dcache is fairly close
to the default setup, the most notable difference being we wanted
gridftp doors on our pool nodes. So I installed them as per the wiki
instructions, and all was fine. But after updating the rpm's and
restarting the dcache-opt services instead of getting the one gridftp
door with the name gridftpdoor-hostname we end up getting the full
door set (srm, ftp, dcap) with the default names being opened on the
pool node. The only file I checked was the door_config file, and this
seemed unchanged. Rerunning the install_doors script seemed to fix
everything, and all seems fine now. But until this is understood I'm
reluctant to set my pool nodes to auto-update, and have to babysit all
my updates now on my srm nodes.
cheers,
matt
