A highly visible and respected colleague in the disabilities movement here
in the U.S. put it very nicely in a recent email exchange. She said, "I
often emphasize to students that the "medical model" is certainly
appropriate if applied to medical problems. I try to convey that if "medical
model" is defined to mean that biomedical conditions can explain societal
outcomes, then it is inappropriate"
Persons with disabilities do, indeed, often have medical conditions that are
associated with many aspects of their lives. That cannot be ignored. The
problem arises when those medical conditions serve as the primary basis for
assumptions about social and functional capabilities, outcomes, etc.

If you want to be tested for food allergies/intolerances,/sensitivities, if
you have 'nurodiverse' impairments, or experiencing mental ill health then
you may want to empower yourself to see a clinical nutritionist:-
http://www.patrickholford.com/content.asp?id_Content=1
You can also be tested at:- Yorklab:- http://www.yorkallergyusa.com/, or if
you have a neurodiverse impairment(s), then you may want to be tested for
IAG levels by Paul Shattock:- http://osiris.sunderland.ac.uk/autism/
You also may want to visit the following website for all Food and Behaviour
research:-

Are be told 'the-truth' by our Government's?
We all know that there are vested economic interests here within the food,
agriculture and farming and pharmaceutical industries who can 'monopolise'
'the-truth' and 'data' and give out 'disinformation' and also they have the
'lobbying-power' that can manipulate any Government's acrosss the globe.
This will be clearly highligted and 'exposed' within Michaels' Moore's new
movie:- 'Sicko':-
